Andrew Koester,

Experienced Trial Attorney in Criminal and Civil Litigation

Andrew Koester is an experienced Illinois attorney with a broad background in both criminal and civil litigation. His practice includes representing clients in criminal defense and plaintiff’s personal injury matters, as well as handling a range of civil disputes.

From 2016 to 2019, Andrew served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Clay County, and from 2019 to 2022, he served as the Clay County State’s Attorney. Andrew has been in private practice at Taylor Law Offices since 2022. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive trial and courtroom experience, taking numerous cases to verdict before both judges and juries. In his criminal defense practice, he primarily handles DUI and serious felony cases.  In his civil litigation practice, Andrew has handled a variety of civil cases involving personal injury claims, contract disputes, and business litigation. He works to achieve efficient, favorable resolutions for his clients while remaining fully prepared to take cases to trial when necessary.
